For the Love of Art

Join us during the Valentine weekend February 15 and 16 for a fun filled family event. Children can make and take home their own Valentine. Take your Valentine picture (pets welcome) at our photo station with provided props and Valentine background. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. Saturday from 1 to 4 pm Jerry Marquez will provide a variety of music. Sunday from 1 to 3 pm Rosario Manriquez will grace everyone with her beautiful voice singing a variety of love ballads. Placita Madrid Sidewalk Art Market

Placita Madrid artists Alberto Escamilla, Robert Dozal, Romy Hawkins and new shop owner Juana Romo, along with Gloria Flores are sponsoring the first Sidewalk Art Market at Placita Madrid. Colorful umbrellas will line the front of the building with vendors. On Sunday from 1 to 4 pm musician Gino DeSantis will perform. The event is free and open to the public.
